Rock Jane
Jane is a long, sculptural A-line skirt with a curved, raised waist. There are two slit pockets at the front and a suit-style welt pocket at the back right. A gusset at the back gives extra freedom of movement and creates a beautiful silhouette.
The skirt is opened with a visible sewn-in metal zipper of the highest quality from Riri Mayer in Switzerland.
Jane is produced with great care in small editions in a sewing factory in Bavaria.
Fit & size
Jane has a body hugging fit. If you like it like that, choose your normal size. If you prefer to have more room around the waist, choose a larger size.
Outer fabric: 100% cotton
Jane is made of cotton pilot from the German weaving mill Kindermann. Pilot is a heavy, dense material often used for workwear. Over time and with wear, it becomes soft and supple.
I find the material particularly interesting because of its sculptural effect.
Pocket lining: 100% cotton
Cotton twill, IVN Best certified by the weaving mill Elmer and Zweifel.
The sturdy blackened metal zipper is by Riri Mayer. It runs like butter.
At the beginning I recommend breaking in the skirt and washing it as little as possible. Any stains can be easily removed with a damp cloth.
To wash, turn inside out and close the zip. Wash on a gentle cycle with plenty of cold water. Spin dry at a low speed and hang up while damp.
