Culotte Takeko
If samurais wore trousers, they would choose this culotte! With it´s A-shape, Takeko provides her wearer stability and a firm stance. 6 pockets offer plenty of space for everything you carry with you. This style is named after the female Samurai Takeko.
The sophisticated seam design creates a slim silhouette. Perfectly crafted, inside and out.
Takeko is made with great care in small editions in a manufactory in Bavaria.
Fit & size
Takeko has a regular fit, choose your normal size.
Outer fabric: 100% Merino wool
For these trousers, I had a very specific material in mind: a heavy virgin wool gabardine, the kind used in the past for uniforms. Finding such quality was a challenge! The Bavarian cloth factory Gebr. Mehler produces this beautiful worsted classic from 100% merino wool.
Pocket lining: 100% cotton
Robust cotton twill, IVN Best certified by the weaving mill Elmer und Zweifel.
The fine blackened metal zipper is by Riri Mayer. It runs like butter.
Buttons: Real horn buttons complete the look.
Due to the self-cleaning effect of the new wool, it is sufficient to air the trousers overnight. Creases can be smoothed out with a light steam. Take them to the dry cleaners if necessary.
