The shirt Virginia made of pure linen is a classic for the whole year. The one-piece shoulder yoke fits seamlessly around the shoulder, a subtle special detail.
There is a box pleat at the back for extra freedom of movement. The cuffs are a little longer and can also be worn casually folded over. Buttons made from mother-of-pearl from the rivershell give the design that little something extra.
Virginia is crafted with great care in small editions in a manufactory in Bavaria.
Fit & size
The fit of the shirt Virginia is intended to be loose. If you like it relaxed, choose your normal size. If you prefer a more regular fit, you can size down.
100% linen
The pure linen from the Vieböck linen weaving mill feels incomparably soft, silky, and airy. Vieböck is the oldest linen weaving mill in Austria's Mühlviertel region and bears the GOTS seal. The family business has been in existence since 1832. All linen yarns used come from France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
The mother-of-pearl buttons are made from rivershell mussels. I chose them for their porcelain-like surface, which perfectly complements the light blue tone.
Wash on a gentle cycle at 30 degrees with plenty of water. Spin dry at a low spin speed and iron while damp.
